Fraudulent Behaviour
(AUSTRALIA)
Written and performed by Rosie Dennis

This philosophically playful exploration of everyday lies and self-deception uses prose, an invisible friend, a decoy duck and cardboard cut-outs to create a witty and thoughtful performance in response to Nietzsche's assertion, 'we need lies in order to live'.

A seductively transparent performance, part dance, part surreal monologue. THEATRENOTES

It's lovely to be lied to so convincingly. REALTIME 92

The Albany Entertainment Centre (AEC) is a defining architectural landmark on the foreshore of Albany with its breathtaking views of Princess Royal Harbour.

The centre piece of the Albany Entertainment Centre is the Princess Royal Theatre with a raked auditorium seating 620, a large stage, full fly tower, orchestra pit lift and equipped with cutting edge stage lighting and audio systems.

Also housed in the centre is The Kalyenup Studio, a flexible space accommodating 200 people. An ideal venue for intimate productions or a breakout space for conferences and more.

View, the centre's cafe also has unique sweeping harbour views and is a popular place to enjoy coffee and fine food in Albany.

Parking for 135 vehicles is available in the AEC car park on Toll Place, which can be accessed from Princess Royal Drive. Additional parking is available north of the railway line where people may utilise the footbridge to access the AEC.

The AEC endeavours to accommodate people with disabilities and special needs. Facilities include wheelchair access, a lift from the ground floor, wheelchair accessible toilets, special allocated seating and a hearing induction loop in the main auditorium.
