Amazing Albany

Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Eugene Ugorski and Konstantin Lifschitz

Since their first acclaimed performance at the 2008 Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival in Germany, Eugene Ugorski and Konstantin Lifschitz have forged an artistic partnership of great distinction. Their seamless rapport has led to invitations to London's Wigmore Hall, the Beethovenfest in Bonn and the Lucerne Festival.

At the tender age of eight, Eugene Ugorski made his debut with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra. Now 21, he regularly performs with such orchestras as the London Philharmonic, BBC Symphony and Los Angeles Philharmonic, drawing comparisons with a young David Oistrakh and praise for his freshness and originality.

A much sought-after chamber musician, Konstantin Lifschitz has partnered with such artists as Gidon Kremer, Mischa Maisky and Dmitry Sitkovetsky.

Ugorski is no mere prodigy, but already a consummate artist of the very first order. CLASSICAL VOICE

For Lifschitz this has clearly been a labour of love … these are staggering performances which deserve the highest acclaim. INTERNATIONAL RECORD REVIEW
