Carrolup Cultural Tour

Explore the history of one of the most significant art schools to come out of Western Australia. The Carrolup Mission near Katanning provided the framework for a remarkable group of Aboriginal child artists in the 1950s. Walk in their footsteps at Carrolup Mission and breathe in the landscape in the sunset hour that inspired these amazing paintings. Hear stories from Aboriginal elders and an art historian and visit modern day galleries in Katanning that showcase contemporary Noongar artists, inspired by the Carrolup tradition. This experience will live long in your memory!
