Embrace balmy Summer nights at Beck's Music Box with FREE after parties from 10pm each night of the Festival. Local, national and international performers and DJs hit the stage after the main event providing entertainment until late.

Please note: A dress-code applies for Beck's Music Box After Parties. Thongs and singlets are not allowed. This dress-code does not apply to patrons with tickets, only patrons wishing to enter after 10pm.

Bursting out your brain-box in a shower of purple and gold sparks, Perth's very own Rex Monsoon brings his summer-shine dance party to Beck's Music Box this February!

Dressed as Grrrl is a collective of artists in the vein of performance, delivering Perth's most provocative events and distorting the landscape of conceptual performance. Appearances by Ash Baroque, Strykermeyer and more.

Voltaire Twins are a brother-sister indie/electro/disco band from Perth. Having supported such indie heavyweights as Ladytron and Maximo Park - catching the eye of French tastemaker label Kitsune along the way - they're making huge waves with their dreamlike melodies. The Leap Year are a band from Perth formed in 2006 and comprised of Rob Schifferli on guitar and vocals, Martin Allcock on guitar and vocals, Paul Haimes on bass, keyboards and vocals and Chris Reimer on drums. The band create loud atmospheric walls of guitar noise underpinned by subtle songwriting and minor keys.

As a pioneering DJ at 1980s warehouse parties, he has influenced a generation. Born in London to West Indian parents, Norman became a key voice of pirate radio station KISS-FM, collaborator with Gilles Paterson at Talkin' Loud records and is the first DJ to be awarded an MBE for services to the music industry. Adam Trainer is a musician, DJ and music journalist from Perth and is also the Music Director of RTRFM, Perth's largest community radio station. He presents RTR's signature new music program Out to Lunch every Monday and Posted on Wednesday evenings, where the focus is experimental music and post-rock. Adam has DJed around town at venues such as the Bird and Velvet Lounge, where he was DJ in residence at the regular Outer Limits nights. Main event: Joanna Newsom

Nic's Hellenic heritage as led him to love all things global. He grew up listening to Rebetica (Greek Blues), which stems from Asia Minor (modern day turkey). His love for what comes from the East and what comes from the West is his undoing, as he himself does not know what he likes better. Is it Arabic? Is it Bollywood? Is it French pop?
